I never liked writing anything until this year. My high school always made students write about boring topics and gave us a required page number to fulfill. This year I was introduced to journal keeping. I was told that I could write about anything I wanted. I was shocked. At first, I did not know what to write about because I was always given a topic, but now it was up to me to decide what I was to write about. Now, after a few weeks of this procedure, I typically write about my day and anything interesting that happened to me over the week. I can see myself looking back on my journal years from now and being thankful for writing about my day and life. I am excited to write now because it is fun and up to me what I get to write about.
